Trail ride through the Rhaetian Alps in Graubünden with 7 days and 6 nights
A soul ride – you ride through mountainous terrain in deep connection with your horse. Climbs, descents and longer gallops alternate, depending on the day’s stage. The varied landscapes are breathtaking and bring you close to their nature. Through the attentive interaction with your horse partner, you will also succeed in exciting passages. In fairness, there are occasional places that we carry ourselves to ensure safe movement for the horses in the field. It is an average of 30-50 min/day on foot. Then the next gallop will be even more fun.
In the high valleys we rest in mountain villages at an altitude of 1’800 m above sea level, to then climb again up to 2’800 m above sea level.
In the Rhaetian Alps you will find peaks from 3,400 to 4,050 meters above sea level. Riding in the Rhaetian Alps is a special adventure with great variety in wild mountain world with its clear lakes, crossing various passes (up to 2’800 m.), discovering new worlds, from high valley to plateau, to glacier tongue. At altitude we encounter the Alpine Five: ibex, red deer, golden eagle, marmot and chamois. In between, a detour into the civilization of the region is worthwhile.
The expected route leads via Bivio and the Pass Lunghin into the Engadin, through the Engadin, to the Keschhütte and via Alp d’Err back to Alp Flix.
